ANATMAN
Returning to Stillness is a meditative sound journey inviting participants into deep listening, presence, and inner exploration through sound. Electronic textures and personally recorded nature sounds are woven together with live traditional instruments—some handcrafted by Anatman through his instrument-making practice, Samadhi Instruments. The practice emphasizes listening as meditation, inviting participants into stillness, self-inquiry, and reflection without imposing a specific outcome. In a festival setting, it provides an opportunity to pause, reset, and reconnect through deep listening, offering a grounded, accessible space for presence and inner exploration.

JUSTINE CLARK
Join Justine for a two-part journey into the heart of restoration. We begin with an insightful educational talk on holistic well-being, exploring how we can harmonize our modern lives with the natural rhythms of the planet and our own nervous systems.
Following the talk, we transition into a fully guided Yoga Nidra style session (often called "yogic sleep"). This practice provides a profound state of conscious relaxation, allowing the body to heal and the mind to find stillness. This workshop is designed to bridge the gap between "knowing" what is healthy and actually "feeling" the benefits of deep, regulated rest. -

WILDLANES
Wildlanes is the musical vehicle for proud wahine and emerging singer and songwriter, Laney Van Jaarsveld. Raised in Aotearoa’s seaside town of Tairua, the raw soul powerhouse that is Wildlanes draws from nature and connection to community, with a desire to share truths that empower, uplift & inspire.
From young experiences singing with Stan Walker, to countless nights singing in bars, while learning her writing craft by day, Wildlanes connection with local audiences in her Mt Maunganui / New Zealand community have seen the stages grow from corners in Kiwi bars, to significant platforms supporting international touring artists such as Dire Straits Legacy and Demi Lee Moore.
In terms of Aotearoa talent, Wildlanes has supported local legends Tiki Taane, Coterie, Lime Cordiale, Ladi6, Kora and many more. In 2023, she secured her first spots at major NZ festivals, playing Soundsplash, and then Coca Cola Christmas in the Park. Wildlanes then received support from NZ on Air via the New Music Development Scheme, where she was able to merge talents with those of Stan Bicknell and Will Henderson, among other industry mentors.
Whether with her full band, or performing intimately with a guitarist, the stories and songs of Wildlanes are disarmingly vulnerable and inspiring. One part soulful, another spiritual, another liberated, free & funky; above all, Wildlanes exudes a power that comes with growth, and speaks to the hurt and hurdles that inevitably line the road to self-love.
