We’re on a mission to bring The Sauna Project to every community in New Zealand and Australia.
If you love sauna, nature, and creating spaces where people can connect, then you might be the perfect person to bring a sauna to your own community.
Initially, we weren't sure if there was an appetite for saunas in New Zealand, so we built one and tested the waters.
What we discovered surprised us…
After 3 months, the sauna was fully booked.
Week after week.
That got us thinking: would this work in other places?
So we built one for Simon down in Gisborne. Same story. His community was in need of a wood-fired sauna, and before long, his sauna was humming.
Now there are over 21 saunas dotted around Aotearoa, from Waihī and Napier, to Kāpiti, Taranaki, Pāpāmoa, Auckland, and more.
And believe we are only at the start of out journey and would love to bring more saunas to more communities.

Chris and Georgia made the choice to buy The Sauna Project Sydney after visting our Mount Maunganui sauna.
In a short amount of time, they have been able to build a community around their sauna and serve people from all walks of life in a way that supports health and well-being.
We reckon there are heaps of great spots for a sauna in Australia, and we’re keen to bring this health-giving experience to as many communities as possible.
